VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers through public information points and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide straightforward information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. A short report is available via a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s news european union representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, noted: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
